Minimalist exterior and proven design concept

The Ducky ONE 2 Mini Gaming keyboard shines with a very minimalist exterior and a mixture of new features and proven design concepts. The Cherry MX switches are used and Ducky combines them with PBT double-shot keys. The keyboard is packaged in a slim case without a numeric keypad and arrow keys with a very narrow and stylish frame and rounded off with RGB LED backlighting.

The highlight of the Ducky ONE 2 Mini gaming keyboard is undoubtedly its RGB LED illumination, which allows for virtually endless design possibilities. It offers a total of twelve different lighting modes, one of which is more unusual than the other. The special highlight of the Ducky keyboards is the completely software-free configuration of the RGB lighting. All settings and changes can be made using various key combinations.

Functions & Features

The very popular mechanical Cherry-MX switches are almost unbreakable and, depending on the switch used, are optimally suited for a variety of specific types of gamers. Thanks to USB-N-Key-Rollover any number of keys can be pressed simultaneously without ghosting or other delays. Here the 1,000 Hz report rate of the USB port is a help, which sends data from the keyboard to the PC every millisecond.

The powerful ARM-M3 micro-controller the Ducky ONE 2 Mini controls and stores the selected LED effects. In addition, it optimizes communication between the keyboard and PC while providing additional functions including the use of macros and profile memory. In addition to multimedia features, Ducky Macro V2.0 also provides keyboard cursor control.

Detachable USB Type C Cable

The detachable cable has a USB type C connector on the keyboard's side and a typical type A connector at the other end. The two rubberized feet at the rear are also comfortable and are height-adjustable in three stages.

Durable keycaps

The keycaps are made of polybutylene terephthalate, or PBT for short, are manufactured using the double-shot process, and are significantly more durable than keys manufactured with ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene).

MX Speed Silver

Cherry MX Speed-Silver switches are used by professional gamers for extremely short response times. They are particularly characterized by their 40 percent faster actuation compared to other Cherry MX switches and impress with their low activation weight, short travel, and their soft, linear sensation. This enables fast double and triple taps for particularly fast actions.

Layout and size

In this compact keyboard layout, not only the numeric keypad is missing, but also the arrow keys, the block with the insert and remove keys, and the print, number, and pause keys. The entire F-key row is also not available. All missing keys have been integrated into the remaining 61 keys and can be activated with the Fn key. This TKL mini or 60 percent layout results in an extremely portable and lightweight keyboard.
